I’d recommend booking in advance via WhatsApp – they respond pretty quickly. Especially during peak season, walk-in appointments might be harder to secure for your preferred time slot.
Ubud Putri Bali Spa experience review
The overall process goes like this: reception → changing clothes → massage → flower bath. The timing was well-paced, so you never feel rushed.
As soon as you walk in, the staff greets you warmly and the whole atmosphere is very relaxing. Then they’ll take you to the changing room to put on the clothes they provide. The room was really clean and spacious, so it didn’t feel cramped at all.
The massage technique was genuinely professional. They controlled the pressure really well – firm when needed but never painfully so. The massage therapist would check in regularly to see if the pressure needed adjusting. Their service attitude was friendly and patient, and the whole process allowed me to completely relax.
After the massage comes the long-awaited flower bath! The bathtub is filled with flower petals paired with the scent of essential oils – the atmosphere is truly romantic. However, I do need to give a heads up to those who are afraid of bugs: since it’s a semi-open space, I did see some small insects fly in while I was soaking. It didn’t really affect the overall experience, but if you’re particularly scared of bugs, you might want to mentally prepare yourself.
Environment & Cleanliness
The overall environment is very comfortable. Whether it’s the reception area, massage room, or flower bath space, everything is kept quite clean. The decor follows traditional Balinese style with wooden elements and greenery, giving off a real vacation vibe. While there might be some bugs around the flower bath area, the cleanliness of all other spaces is excellent, so you can enjoy your experience with peace of mind.
Overall Review
For around $1,500 TWD (approximately $50 USD), I think Putri Bali Spa’s Detox Package is really good value! Professional massage techniques, friendly service, and a comfortable clean environment. This spa is considered higher-end in Bali, but the experience and atmosphere definitely reflect that premium quality. Hope this helps with your decision!
